Fuerza Bruta New York 2007- Slip and slide in the sky

Whoa! This show, in previews until the 24th at the Daryl Roth Theater, 101 E. 15th St. NYC, is a MUST SEE EXTRAVAGANZA! Part wind, part water, part fantasy, these dancers break through barriers and overcome the forces of living, both elemental and constructed. Some cast, many former Cirque du Soliel performers, join this crew of fantastical, high energy part spectical, part dance party experience. As an audience member you are emersed in the experience in a fresh style that surpasses Blue Man Group by leaps and bounds, literally. Arial dancers run circles around you on shimmering foil backdrops. You move with the sets, sometimes underwater as the ceiling of splashing sirens slide over head. A dj brings it up and hot, high energy dance interludes rile up the crowd, creating the ultimate surreal danceparty. SCILF's included. (That's Stage Crew, by the way. HOTTIES.)
