NYC streets weren't just filled with taxis this week! Walking down 34th street in the wee hours of the day? Low and behold a circus parade!

The Elephants are too big for trailers so the circus unloads them in Queens at the Midtown Tunnel and marches them through the tunnel and across Manhattan to Madison Square Garden. And, in costume, no less!

I love NYC.

Carnegie Hall in Box Seats!

Once again, holding onto the coattails of NPR engineer Josh Rogosin and Jeff Johnson on assignment at all the best venues. I'm telling you, the press get the royal treatment!
